Sales Tax

Texas residents and customers must pay the appropriate sales tax. Texas customers buying parts for resale must have a resale tax certificate on file with Harwood.

Orders to be Picked-up at Harwood Industries inc. in Tyler, TX

All orders to be picked-up at the Harwood manufacturing plant must be prepaid. Customers are encouraged to contact Harwood’s sales department in advance when visiting Harwood.


Customers are responsible for all freight charges, truck freight or UPS/FedEx ground shipping. (ask your sales representative for your rate). Invoices are F.O.B. Harwood Ind., Tyler, TX. Refused orders will be assessed a 25% restocking fee plus freight charges.

Merchandise Damaged in Shipping

Upon delivery, customers must inspect Harwood’s packaging and products for damages prior to signing the delivery receipt. REFUSE ANY SHIPMENT IN WHICH MERCHANDISE HAS BEEN DAMAGED DURING SHIPMENT AND HAVE THE DELIVERY DRIVER NOTE ON FREIGHT BILL “REFUSED DUE TO DAMAGE”. Contact Harwood sales department immediately when refusing damaged shipments. After the damage has been verified with the freight company a new replacement part will be shipped to you. Claims for freight damages must be made with the carrier at the time of delivery and damaged products must be in their original packaging. Once a customer signs and accepts merchandise from the shipper, the customer accepts responsibility for filing any freight claims with the shipper.


All returns must be authorized by Harwood's sales department. Upon approval, a Returned Goods Authorization Number (RGA#) will be issued. This RGA# must be clearly printed on the box containing returned goods. Merchandise returned without a legitimate RGA# will be refused by Harwood. Merchandise returned “Freight Collect” without prior authorization will also be refused. Returns & exchanges will be assessed a 25% restocking fee and customers are responsible for all shipping expenses. To qualify for a return or exchange, merchandise must have been purchased directly from Harwood and: (1) in original condition, (2) returned in a period less than (90) days from the original purchase date. Credits, refunds, or exchanges for any merchandise will be at the sole discretion of Harwood Industries, Inc. Polycarbonate Windows are cut to order and are non-returnable.


Harwood Industries, Inc. warrants our products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of (90) days from the date of purchase by the original consumer. Any implied warranty determined to be applicable is limited in duration to the duration of this warranty.

Harwood does not warrant products which have been (1) subject to abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or adjustment, dirt, contaminants or corrosion; (2) installed by a non-qualified individual(s); (3) modified or altered outside of factory specifications; (4) used in any other application than recommended in Harwood’s current catalog/website.

In the event of a potential warranty claim, notify Harwood’s sales department immediately. Do not return any merchandise to Harwood without prior authorization; non-authorized returns are refused by Harwood’s receiving department. All warranty claims must be accompanied by a dated, legitimate proof of purchase from Harwood or one of it’s authorized dealers. Warranty claims for Harwood merchandise purchased from a Harwood dealer or distributor must be submitted to that dealer or distributor in accordance to their policies and procedures. Credits, refunds, or replacements for any merchandise considered under a warranty claim will be at the sole discretion of Harwood Industries, Inc.

In the event of a defect in material or workmanship, Harwood Industries, Inc. shall not be responsible for (a) actual or alleged installation labor, transportation or other incidental charges or (b) actual or alleged consequential or other damages incurred by use of Harwood Industries, Inc. products.

This warranty gives you certain legal rights which vary from state to state, so some of the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantable or fitness for any particular purpose.

Product Installation Notes

Harwood’s fiberglass hoods include a perimeter lip for shipping rigidity which may need to be trimmed to ensure proper fit. Some scoops and body panels also have a perimeter lip or mounting flange which may require trimming. Customers must fit merchandise to ensure proper fitment and alignment prior to painting. All Harwood fiberglass parts come in a gloss black gel-coat finish which must be painted after trial fitting to match the customer’s vehicle. Occasionally minor scuffs or non-consequential surface blemishes may be present as a result of the manufacturing, shipping and handling process. These blemishes are removed during the normal sanding and preparation process required when painting any vehicle body component. As with any body panel manufacturer, significant adjustment may be required in applications where a vehicle’s OEM dimensions may have been compromised by body work, restoration, or any other body or chassis modification.


Harwood Industries will not be liable for personal or property damage caused by the use or misuse of any product we manufacture or sell.
